NOTD + Priceline Haul

One week ago Priceline was having a 40% off sale on all cosmetics, which is pretty big, so everyone hopped on the bandwagon including me. The sale was over two days so you needed to be quick before stock was sold out. However since I had uni on both days my only option was to purchase online on their website and let me tell you - it was not a pleasant experience. My whole afternoon and night consisted of trying to navigate their website, only to be given an error message or lag out each time then I would be frustrated and rage to my boyfriend. It was a never ending cycle until I was finally able to place my order at 2.30AM. Yep, you've read correctly... 2.30AM!

Luckily it was all worth it in the end!

Here are the products I ended up purchasing if you haven't seen my Instagram:

Essence polishes in:
     112 Time For Romance
     113 Do You Speak Love
     126 Date in the Moonlight
139 Walk on the Wild Side
And, Australis in Speck-tacular

I'm using Do You Speak Love as my base along with Speck-tacular and Time For Romance. Speck-tacular is a gorgeous holographic flakie top coat which has been around in stores for a while now but I never picked it up it looked very plain and ugly in the bottle.

Revlon Colorbust Lip Butter - 070 Cherry Tart | Maybelline Color Sensational - 904 Vivid Rose
Covergirl - Clump Crusher by Lash Blast Mascara
Australis - See Ya Later Nail Polish Remover
Maybelline Color Tattoo - 30 Pomegranate Punk
Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil - 025 Royal Blue
I apologise for my lack of posts recently but I've been busy with mid semester exams and assessments recently. At the same time I keep procrastinating so I am stressing out so much. How do you balance between uni / work and blogging? Do share your management and organisational skills!

  1. Small Priceline haul there missy! Awww... Shame that Priceline's site was lagging and crashing. Glad you got to placed your order though... I really should get to posting about the haul too! I used to be able to manage uni work and blogging so well, but lastly I've been struggling. My plan for tomorrow is to finish 5 posts which will cover for the upcoming week! I've got my lists and details planned out already. Hehehe... Xx

  4. It would have been bigger if I had the money! Hahaha and yes, you should post your haul as well! Your haul is probably double or triple the size of mine. I've been meaning to write a bunch of posts when I'm free but it never ends up happening :(

  5. This is my first time trying them! They retail for around $20 in Australia so I steer away...

  6. I can only imagine how overwhelming the website would be! I actually went into my local priceline to find something to buy but found myself walking straight out because they had wrapped sticky tape all over the cosmetics. :( It put me off from looking altogether which did turn out to be a good thing since I was able to save money and spend it on other stuff! :D I love your picks! That Maybelline CT in Pomegranate Punk is such a beautiful colour and great for autumn and winter! x

  8. Ohh nice haul :) I've been eyeing the Essence range for a while but haven't picked up anything because I wasn't too sure about the quality. However, I'm loving the red that you have on your nails. So I might give that a try.
Good luck with uni! I normally like writing to do lists for each day. I love the feeling of crossing something off the list- I guess that drives me?

  14. I wish I had that willpower to walk away from the store despite such a great sale! But even so, I would probably end up purchasing online hahaha... And I agree, Pomegranate Punk is such a beautiful colour :)

  16. You should definitely try the Essence polishes! They're have high quality nail polishes that are so affordable. After trying them for the first time, Essence is my go to drugstore nail polish I believe. Oh and I absolutely love their brushes - makes applying nail polish so much easier. I love writing lists as well, but I always end up not looking or following them again LOL
