Skinmiso - Pore Beauty Nose Pack

Hey everyone! Just a very short reminder that my 100 followers Urban Decay giveaway is ending next Wednesday 10th April so be sure to enter ASAP for a chance to win :)

Now onto my usual post ~

When I first subscribed to Bellabox I was introduced to the brand Skinmiso, a Korean skincare cosmetic company. My box included a sample of their nose pore strip which is unlike many others that I have tried. With most nose strips that I've tried, you simply wet your nose a bit to allow the strip to adhere to your nose and after a few minutes you remove it. You would often stare at the mask in interest and disgust when you see all the gunk that has just been removed.

The Skinmiso nose pore strips require three steps and a little more time consuming than others. In each pack you receive 10 sheets of Step1, 10 sheets of Step2 and a 15ml Pore Beauty Silky Essence. After using the sample I received in my Bellabox, I was astounded at how clear my nose looked and I literally could not see my pores.
Make your nose perfectly smooth and clean with the skinmiso pore beauty nose pack. Use the 3 step system for clearing and minimising pores and controlling oil effectively around your nose.
1STEP Remove blackheads and whiteheads with its plant extracts.
2STEP Contract pores with its witch hazel extract and keep skin moisturising with its patented materials.
3STEP Control sebum and gloss, absorb oil and keep your skin silky and dry.

Steps one and two both require 10 minutes each therefore you should apply this when you have time for best results however if you experience pain, remove the mask immediately or timing.
The masks used are soaked in the essence when you tear the packet. When you remove the first mask after ten minutes, use a cotton swab or a comedo to remove the remaining blackheads and whiteheads. After that you wash your nose, apply the second mask and leave it on for another ten minutes. Rub in the remaining essence afterwards and use the silky essence for the final step. The silky essence is a clear, thick gel but feels very light and not noticeable on the nose although it doesn't absorb very quickly.

And here is a before and after picture of my nose.

Besides the dry and flakiness in the before picture, you can see that my pores minimised and aren't very noticeable. I don't have any blackheads to begin with but I'd like to clear my pores especially around my nose.

One thing I dislike about this product is that it did sting my nose a bit but it's bearable. I purchased this from the Bellabox website for $22.50 which is definitely expensive for a nose mask.

Which nose strips / masks do you recommend and are your favourite? Do share!

Also, I recently purchased a number of items that I would love to get around reviewing with you. So I'm hoping I have time to write about them with uni in the way. Have a lovely week! :)

  4. Wow, your pores really do look all minimized. That's quite impressive! I'm currently using a product by The Socializer (actually just reviewed it on my blog) that seems quite effective too but I think the brand is only available in Canada.

  16. Not sure why but after removing the first mask I did not see any whiteheads or blackheads that were pushed out! I tried really hard to see the gunk by pushing the comedy remover but there was not effect! It's strange because I definitely have a 'strawberry nose'. So you have any other tips beside what is written on the package to make the nose pack work? I did wash my nose beforehand and it was about dry. Does this effect the result greatly?

  17. Hi Amy! I'm no expert so I don't know if I would be of any use. For me, after using the first mask, it didn't really 'push' the whiteheads out but it did make it easier to push out with the use of a comedor. I don't think washing your nose will effect the results but it may help if you used lukewarm water to open up your pores. Did your nose not look any different after you applied the second mask one? I know the results aren't permanent but it definitely removed most of the gunk for me so I'm not sure why it didn't work for you :/ You could also try using skincare products that could help reduce the size of your pores. Sorry if this is unhelpful!

Thanks for making my day, beautiful!
