Etude House - Wannabe Perfumed Syrup Nails

Hey ladies! Apologies for my lack of posts and being unable to swatch the products from my MUA haul. This week I had an exam to study for, IQON (hardstyle music festival), and was out with some friends for the whole day. I will try to get some swatches up tomorrow when I have good lighting to take better photos but for now I will share a prize which I won a few weeks ago.

Elisa from Memorable Days co-hosted a giveaway with Cosmetic Love and the prize was an Etude House Wannabe Perfumed Syrup Nails which includes three really glittery polishes to create a gradient look. This is the first giveaway I've ever won so I was super excited when I found out and when I received the parcel since I forgot about it.

The polishes in this set include:
1. Base: Glam Pearl
2. Middle: Sparkling Silver
3. Top: Bling Bling Rose

The cardboard box is probably the girliest packaging I've ever seen. It includes a diagram of how to create gradient nails with the included polishes. Each bottle contains 7g worth of product.

I have never tried scented nail polishes before so I was quite interested to see how that worked as they always smell disgusting... Like all polishes, it smells disgusting in the bottle. However once I finished my nails there was a really sweet and subtle floral rosy scent. I was surprised that they were still scented after washing my hands etc. but it disappeared after a day.

All three polishes are super glittery and reflects so well in direct light. Glam Pearl and Sparkling Silver have a clear base while Bling Bling Rose has a purply pink clear base. They apply on very smoothly but you might want to use two coats of each to make the gradient effect more noticeable. Great thing about them is they dry fairly quickly so you don't have to wait that long between applications.

The photo does not do any justice to show how glittery my nails actually are but I could not stop staring at them.

Cosmetic Love was also kind enough to include two samples in my parcel which were the
- Missha Cherry Blossom Fresh Cleansing Oil, and
- Missha Super Aqua Oxygen Micro Visible Deep Cleanser.
I haven't tried them yet but if you have, let me know how they are!

Have you tried scented nail polishes before?

Hope you had a lovely weekend :)

  1. I know what you mean by you couldn't stop staring at how glittery they were, I recently tried out a gradient polish pack (very similar to yours) from The Face Shop in Korea and my nails are constantly sparkling.
