Anyways! Today I'm going to review another product from my Korea Depart haul - a lip product which you might be able to tell from the title. The product I'm going to review will be the It's Skin's Babyface Pure Lipstick.

It's Skin - Babyface Pure Lipstick

Who can resist such an adorable baby face with angel wings such as this? I must add that I sort of bought this item based purely on the packaging and the fact that it's endorsed by KPOP celebrity Nickhun... It's Korean beauty products like these that burn a hole in my wallet.

Still adorable without it's wings!

If the word 'lipstick' wasn't written on it, I would have thought it was a lip balm because it feels quite cheap as it's made of plastic. It's Skin claims that this lipstick is a "moisturising lipstick that expressed bright and clear lips". I purchased this in the shade Paparazzi Pink which was shown to be a hot pink but not too bright on the lips. This is a great colour for an every day look as it really adds colour and brings out the lips without it being over the top.

When I first swatched it, the tip of the bullet came off or something hence the uneven application on my arm. It has a subtle peachy scent but it's not overpowering or noticeable when you're wearing it. The texture isn't as creamy as I would've liked it to be but this feels light on the lips with a glossy finish. Great thing about t is my lips do feel moisturised but the colour only lasted me for about 2.5hours.

Here's what it looks when worn:
It's not red like how it appears from looking at the bullet and the pigment is alright. The photo doesn't do any justice on how nice the colour actually looks but I quite like it. It's bright enough and not over the top for a day look.

This lipstick is pretty much your average lipstick - nothing special. It's quite cheap so I guess you get what you pay for but it's not bad.

So there goes my two cents about It's Skin's Babyface Pure Lipstick and hope you enjoyed my review. More reviews coming soon!

  8. Wow, I am such a sucker for cute packaging. I'm trying not to add this to the already growing list of cosmetics to buy! I've never tried It's Skin before, but apparently their Snail Cream is popular.

Maybe I should get something from their brand to try, any recommendations Louise? x

I'd love it if you followed back!

    1. This is my first time trying It's Skin but their Macaron Lip Balm is pretty good as well! Smells so delicious, packaging is super cute and really moisturising. Might review it as the next item from my haul. I'm trying Secret Key's snail cream right now and so far so good!

Oops, thought I was already following you. Following you now! :D
