As mentioned in my previous post, I will be swatching Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure in Shoot to the Moon which I received in my Bellabox. The Complete Salon Manicure range has been reformulated and new shades such as Shoot to the Moon have been released, although you might see the same shade from the previous formula with a different name.

This is a very nice silver glitter nail polish and only need two coats for the finishing result. It looks like your average silver glitter nail polish but it also has hints of gold glitter and it shimmers so nicely under the sun. My photo does not do any justice how gorgeous it looks in real life. Sine the glitter is really fine, the texture on the nails is very smooth.

I absolutely loveeeeee the brush for this since it's quite big and fans out really nicely to make application so much easier and faster. One stroke pretty much covers almost my entire nail - the brush is like the size of my pinky nail. I don't think I've ever been in love with a nail polish brush before until today!
As for drying time, the first coat dried pretty quickly whereas the second coat took a bit longer. Being the impatient person I am, I added a Seche Vite top coat. For those of you who don't know or haven't tried the Seche Vite top coat, it is literally the fastest drying top coat I've ever tried. As soon as I finish coating my last nail the first nail I painted is already dry.
This shade is a cheaper and closest dupe of Chanel's Le Vernis Graphite for those who are interested :)

I'd love to see how your shade looks!
DeleteI tend to splurge on nail polishes even though I don't wear it too often. I know that you told me to wear it to school anyways, but if they catch you with it, they'll tell you to wash it off straight away! They check it everyday and they even have nail polish remover handy for you. My school is so strict on uniform and how we present ourselves, it's not even funny.
ReplyDeleteBut the metallic colour looks gorgeous! Sally Hansen never fails to amaze me ^^

Nail polishes are just too pretty to resist! And wow, I thought my school was strict but I guess not - can't believe they have nail polish remover for you :S I'm guessing you go to a private or selective school? But yes, amazing colour!
DeleteThat is such a lovely colour, I love metallic nail varnish! I am addicted to Essie nail varnishes, maybe I will have to bend the rules! Thanks for sharing.
